These Things These Things mini-comic by Jeffrey Brown

Jeffrey Brown, at this point, is known primarily for his Star Wars and Transformers parody series, including Darth Vader & Son, Jedi Academy and Incredible Change-Bots. But he started out making great slice of life comics and mini-comics, giving a tired genre a wonderful, fresh upgrade with his scratchy art style and lively storytelling. This is one of those early minis, where Brown interweaves relationships and interactions with the music of Andrew Bird, which threads through the entire story. The story was eventually reprinted in the Little Things collection, but this comic has some nice touches like hand colored cover and hand written lyrics, as well as some other unique characteristics. This is rare.
